  • 2 one-year periods spent engaging in cultural pursuits at a world-class level

  • A period equal to the sum of the one-year periods indicated in (a) and (b).

Regarding for athletics

  • Two one-year periods working self-employed in the athletics industry,

  • Two one-year periods of world-class athletic performance,

  • A duration equal to the sum of the one-year periods described in (a) and (b) above.

Additionally, candidates must satisfy the additional requirements for eligibility determined by a point system. If a prospective applicant wants to become a self-employed immigrant to Canada, they must receive at least 35 points.
